Sierra and CT Aerospace sign engine agreement
UVALDE, Texas – Sierra Industries Ltd and CT Aerospace LP announce the signing of a
definitive agreement whereby CT Aerospace will acquire the surplus Pratt & Whitney JT15D-4
aircraft engines from Sierra’s latest re-engining program, the Sierra Super II.
Sierra’s Super II is a state-of-the-art re-engining of the Citation II aircraft, providing dramatically
increased range, speed and overall performance while reducing carbon emissions and fuel
usage. The Super II replaces the original Pratt engines with Williams International FJ44-3A
engine, featuring full authority digital engine control (FADEC) for significantly improved
performance, enhanced efficiency and reduced cabin noise. The Super II is an affordable and
cost-effective solution, offering comparable performance to the latest light business jets at a
